I'd love to be patient with you, But that is a luxury I can not afford, A luxury too highly priced. Time flies, And tide waits for no man, So why would I? I'd love to be patient with you, But patience is a virtue - addictive and highly intoxicating; Patience is a distraction of focus, and goal And I, don't fancy to lose...even against time Nothing wasn't ever made, only through patience! I'd love to be patient with you, my love, But you have to pick an end, on this rope That we can face the cold real, and be freed of false hope, An end, my love, One that is worth it, that which your heart beats for, Sheer desire, a bud of sweet love, To be with me now, Or to endure a love-loss to the grave, I won't Wait, frankly, my love; I lack the patience! Hay has to be made whilst the sun still shines! @rudd_poetry #MyLife_MyPoetrt✊ Mvt #PoetryNeverLies🎀 Mvt
