Near & Far 



Near.

You power me up like a battery cell,

So I'll do well by your side,

I'll do good by you,

And be the flag flying on your ship's mast.



So bring me near.

Kiss me under the moon light,

How you do in my sleep.


Look up at the sky, and chant my name.

Hold me dear, as I your heart.

Savor my embrace like fine wine,

And I'll remember only to love!



Far.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder.

Distance should make you yearn,

You should miss.


But alas!

You still drift away,

Like its ice age again!



I'll always leave tear stains on your shoulder,

Even next time I see you.


I'll say my goodbyes,

Because no matter how wide my arms are for embrace,

No matter how open a book I am for you to read,

I'll never be good enough.

For you.


To pet the beast within you,

I'll always have shortcomings.


Because our souls are miles away,

You gave the heart I should claim, away

To belong to another.



My lips have become a home for lost boys to find themselves in,


As I try hopelessly to recreate the feel of your lips,

They tasted like paradise,

Last time we kissed under the whispering trees.

I hope the winds talk to you about me!



Far.

I missed you so much,

The castle came crumbling down, - Anarchy!” my emotions screaming,

It fell on me, 

And crushed my heart.


Since then, I've never known to love.

Like I've never known who you are.

Near,

And Far.



Near or Far,

Where do the clouds lie?

Can I not jump? 

And grab a fluff?


Near and Far,

That's what I would do for you

If love was not a bluff, 

But was like the Gospel - true,


Trust, I would go that far.

If it didn't break hearts; tearing my whole being apart,


Near and Far.

To The Hearts I've Broken...

  To my first,  I wish I could say, "sorry" And "it was my fault" Put in need, being lonely, acceptance and a touch of love,  And it could bring back what we lost, But they are just wishes, If they were horses maybe we'd ride! I had to do what I did, I had to hurt you, So you wouldn't hurt me first. You pushed me to break your precious heart, So I could keep mine intact. It's all on you! All is fair, Love is war, Tears can be shed later. And to Sakhina, The one I loved more, I wrote poems for, It could've been different had you been honest with me. I tried to calm the storm you stirred, But the wave took over, And drowned you with it. It filled your heart, and it burst it to fine pulp. Consequences are a bitch! I watched and savored every moment, But I also lost a part of me in that sea. My Love Burns

 My love burns. Fire,  Like your rage, Be truthful and you'll be spared, Stand with me,  Or stand with them. My  love scorches the earth, A blaze cleansing the fakes, An inferno to purge! A match made in hell, Fire and brimstone. The will to live on, Well, I guess you'll just have to be strong! Because today, your are my people... But, My love burns. Fire,  Like your hate, Do you believe in fate? Kneel, hold your hands together and let me pray. See, I'm not as beastly as they said, I'm much as human as you, Would you say a prayer for me too? Foes are comrades, when they ear my name, They got a pistol in hand. I guess they trying to prove they're tough or something, This is the spirit of being part of something bigger than yourself.
